Do they seat everyone at the dessert buffet before CTM starts?

Yes, they do. If I remember once you are let in and shown your table, it is pretty informal. Since it is a buffet, everyone is constantly up and about to replenish their plates. Once the CTM show starts, and even a little before most everyone moves up toward the railing, then does so again once wishes begins. But there is not really a rush for the best spots because they are all great. You will have a great time
