Has anyone made the Christmas version of his yet? I was wondering how many twinkle lights I will actually need to use. Hubby and I were wondering if 200 mini lights would be too many (of course we have 800-900 lights on a 6 1/2 foot tree too).

I had 3 strands of 100 on this one. I've bought the same number of blue lights for the Christmas version.

Will post photos when I get it done.

Just made the Christmas version.

When phone charges up a bit, I'll take a photo.

Correction on number of lights for Halloween version: I used 3 sets of 50 lights, so 150 total.

This version has 3 sets of 100 lights on it.
