Tink Open! "Green Friday"

Ack! "Green Friday"--Tinkerbell registrations have opened up.

I really should not sign up for this race. But some of you should.

I got the link from RunDisney on FB. Not sure what other options are out there but FYI.

Soooooo tempting to get that C2C. But cooler heads...

Me too! So tempting. So many things could make this such an easy call. Not gonna do it though. I just think physically it would be foolish to plan 3 halves in 3 months when I have never even done 1 half at this point. Maybe next year.

I've never run the Tink, but the the C2C is worth it. I showed my C2C medal yesterday to my mom who has serious foot problems and she said that she would do a 1/2 marathon on each coast to get that medal. I told her that if she does a 5K on each coast, I'll do a 1/2 on each coast and give her my C2C medal.

I came to the same conclusion. In retrospect I think I went from couch to half marathon faster than I should have (one year). I think becoming a C2C-er and a half fanatic is something for later in my running career. Gotta have something to look forward to, especially since 26.2 is not something I necessarily have on my to-do list.

That's the reasonable thing to do. So did I suddenly make entering the lottery for the Nike DC Half into a "reasonable" thing to do? Just move that finish line!

This makes me sad!

I already resigned to the fact that I would have to run the Disneyland half to get my C2C next year, so I booked a land and sea vacation to WDW with my whole family (parents and sister's family incldued) starting January 20th. I spent most of this morning trying to figure out how I could run the race in the morning, and fly out of LAX to MCO in the afternoon.

I so want to do this! I just did the Wine and Dine - my first ever of any distance and LOVED it!!! I really want the C2C medal! I probably won't go for it this year, but some year soon I will have it!

thank you for sharing. I have joined the insanity. Running the Goofy the weekend before at WDW. Why not tack on another 13 miles the weekend after. Gotta use those airline miles for something. LOL

Now what to wear????
