Goofy's Candy Co. w/DDP - The DIS Discussion Forums

We were in Disney last August and were not allowed to use our snack credits for the "make-your-own" at Goofy's Candy Co. I just read a trip report where the OP was able to. Can anybody tell me if they let you use snack credits for the "make-your-own" now? Thanks!

Not sure if it was my TR, if not, here's a second report of using them.

My teenage boys went in to get them, I told them to charge it to the room since I knew they stopped accepting snack credits a couple of years ago.

When the boys came back they said they used snack credits. I thought they were mistaken until I looked at the receipt myself. I was shocked (and annoyed that I didn't know so I could get one too!)

This was end of September (this year)

I am going to have to try that next time with the kids....I steered them away because I figured you couldn't use snack credits.

I'm hoping there's more reports of getting to do this. I wasn't sure if the boys just lucked out with an uninformed CM or if this was the new policy.

in August we used SC, is had the symbol on the sign and there was no issue! Choice of krispie treat, marshmellows and cookies

You pick a treat

Rice Krispie Mickey Head
3 Marshmellows on amickey straw
gingerbread cookie

Then you pick which type of chocolate to dip it in

white chocolate
milk chocolate
dark chocolate

Then you pick a topping

sprinkles
mini m&m's
peanut butter chips
chopped peanuts
chopped pecans
chopped walnuts
sliced almonds
cinnamon sugar
dark and white chocolate chips
crushed oreos
crushed butterfingers
reese's pieces
coconut
graham cracker crumbs

and finally pick your chocolate drizzle.

THey then make it right in front of you! very fun and yummy!
