Got in my 16k today. Finished just over 2 hours - was pleased with that. Tried something new: 2:1 intervals for a long run. Felt really good until kilometer 12 when I started to ache in my feet and legs. It was a slog from there. My IT band felt tight, too, on both sides. I walked it out and it was a bit better, and did some stretches. After a bath and some rest I am still sore, but not too bad.
Tomorrow is 7k with my RR HM group at 10:1 intervals. Advil will be my friend.
