Another solo trip and runner. But I am sure I will meet up with some people from here. I actually just got back from a short solo trip to make sure I would be ok alone, and it was AWESOME. The only thing I am worried about is before the race. I always race with the same guys and this race I am all on my own. But signed up for the race retreat so I wont be alone before the race.

Interesting I didn't even think twice about running alone. My husband, parents, and daughter will be on the sidelines and at the end, but as for doing the run I couldn't imagine running with someone else.
I hadn't thought about the being alone in the corral part-but I figure I'll just be trying to stay calm since this is my first 1/2 marathon-actually any organized run of any type. I'm excited but somewhat, well very, nervous! |
