Thought I would let everyone know that we made it through ok. Obviously, our friends in NYC and Northern NJ did not. Prayers and thoughts to any of our friends who have been affected. If you need anything - send me a PM. I'm a former first responder and many of my fire company are down at the shore now helping with rescue and recovery. I'll get you anything I can.

Gald you survived!! I'm in Central Jersey and didn't really have many problems. Power was out for a while and lots of trees down, but I was lucky. We have power now and no damage to our house. There are tons of people around NJ with out power and some of the shore town were devastated.

Yes, the northern part really did get hammered. Glad you are ok!!!!

Not wrong at all....I'm waiting for next week to come so that our trip will be less then a year away (we are going 11/7-11/13). It just seems so much better when you can say, "this time next year, I will be in DW".

Feeling sad today so I jumped on several threads to get some pixie dust sent my way. S glad to see that those in Sandy's path are getting along okay.

OMG - This planning is driving me crazy. First we were going in October, then DD didn't want to miss that much school, so we moved it to thanksgiving, now DS has decided he wants to go, but he wants to go for Star Wars weekend. However, he graduates on June 11th and I think that is AFTER star wars weekend. So back up plan will be thanksgiving.

This is stressing me out. Hopefully they will announce star wars weekends soon so we can at least know WHEN we are going.

Well the dates keep changing..... We (dd and I) have FINALLY convinced DH that going on 2 trips per year for 7 days each was better then 1 trip per year for 10 days..... We are buying AP's and going to start planning for June 2013.

I hope you all have a great trip in November.

Hey you are a year away today!!

I just moved our May reservation to November. Decided to do a cruise then a few park days. I hate that we're over a year away now when I was almost 6 months out but I think going on our first cruise will make it worth the wait.

We are doing the same cruise but thinking of staying at AoA suite after just to save a little $$ off of 2 moderate rooms which is what we usually do. Might wait and see if Magical Vacations has another AE deal for next Thanksgiving like they do this year and book with them.
