I completely agree with your OAUT comment. Aurora is annoying. Why are they making us dislike her ??? I love that show !! Rumple can be VERY creepy at times and even though Captain Hook is not a good guy - he is super hot (fans self).

We use thin brushes or a dotting tool (which you can make by putting a ball-head pin in the eraser end of a pencil) to make most of our designs. Patience and a steady hand are key!

I love those topiaries! I can't keep plants alive to save my life, so the fact that they can shape them in such a detailed way is so impressive to me.

If there's ever a place to have two desserts, Disney is definitely it.

Update #13: Breezing Through Epcot
May 13th, 2012

While we were in the France pavilion, one of the custodial CM's saw my birthday button and announced that it was my birthday to the entire pavilion. That was pretty awesome!

It was rather fabulous.

Our next country was Morocco.





LOOK IT'S ALADDIN!!

I realized that I have never really explored that country! There is so much more to it than I thought!

Next was Japan!





We went into Mitsukoshi and looked around! This is one of my favorite gift shops in Disney. There is always so much to look at!



This place is Pokemon central! And having a boyfriend who is OBSESSED with Pokemon... I couldn't help but take a bunch of pictures.





Preston needs one of each of these shirts.



PIKACHU!! He's my favorite.



I found Preston a little Pokemon figurine of Suicune for one of his presents. He LOVED it!

Mike bought a Lemon Citrus Japanese soda. He is very intrigued by the sodas from this country.

Have you ever had the watermelon one!? Then you would know why. It tastes like a liquified watermelon ring pop. YUM.

The Cars topiaries were in Japan this year!





Then we went to the American Adventure.





All of the Toy Story topiaries were there so we had to take pictures!

Update #13: Breezing Through Epcot (Part 2)
May 13th, 2012

Then... we got THE AMERICAN DREAM! It was lovely. Not a lot of people know about this treat, but we are here to introduce it to you!



The American Dream is blue slushie, red slushie, and vanilla ice cream. SUCH A GOOD COMBINATION! The slushie is carbonated, too. It's so good, delicious, and refreshing! YUM! It's available at Fire & Drum in the American Adventure Pavilion!



It was delicious! You could probably just eat it with a spoon!

Next was Italy!





The Lady and the Tramp topiaries will always be some of my favorites!

Then we kept walking and the bridge was up while they were loading in for IllumiNations. The IllumiNations/Tapestry of Dreams soundtrack was playing and they were just beautiful.

Then we went onto Mexico and rode the Three Caballeros ride! The Mexico Pavilion smells lovely.

"They say we are birds of a feather..."



Allie (princessallie) has made me love this ride and the Mexico pavilion so much more than before.

We walked by Test Track and everything was all boarded up for the refurb! It was so weird to see it like that. I can't WAIT to ride the new Test Track. I hope it is awesome, because it's going to be hard to live up to the old one!



I can't wait to check that out in December!!

Then we went into Wonders of Life and basically just walked in a circle so we could look around and be inside this extinct pavilion.



I was really excited! I loved the pavilion and I think it's such a waste that it's only a festival center now. It's beautiful!

Update #13: Breezing Through Epcot (Part 3)

Pretty flowers for the Flower and Garden Festival:









It was Kristen's first time going in Wonders of Life so it was a pretty monumental moment! I mean, it isn't unbelievably exciting... but just being in there is pretty cool since it's no longer open all of the time!



I'm kind of waiting for the day they announce that they're closing Universe of Energy. Not that I don't love it... but it's getting outdated. It's only a matter of time.

It scares me a little...there will be uprising when that happens. Led by me.





This is Kristen's Little Town Belle bow! We thought it matched the Innoventions sign very well!



I LOVE THAT BOW!

I LOVE FUTURE WORLD.



We started heading towards the exit of the park... but before we left we took a ride on Spaceship Earth!





THIS IS MY FAVORITE PART OF THE RIDE.

So pretty much after breezing through Epcot, it was time to go back to the resort!

Update #13: "We're Going To... MER MER MER!"
May 13th, 2012

This is inside the main building. This area connects the lobby and the gift shop/restaurants.

The new DVC logo. I don't know, guys. I like the old one better. Just saying.



ME TOO. I get why they did it though. The new one is more concise and more representative of the "world" concept.

One of the CM's gave us a TON of Mickey stickers for our birthdays!



This picture cracks Jess up, and I look so GROSS. I totally was not paying attention AT ALL. Fart shoes.

Back to the room!



Preston called me so I went down to the pool and sat with my feet in the hot tub for a while. We talked for about an hour and then I went back up to the room.

Meanwhile, I talked to Nat and my Mom and freshened up. I might have taken a little nap too. I can't remember.

I had to do a little survey of all of the pins I collected since last time:



Time to catch up on the trip journal! FRUMP AT WORK!



We left for our dinner reservation at 7:30 pm! Time to go to MER-MER-MER!

Aka, we were surprising Katie with a reservation at Chef Mickey's! So we just said MER-MER-MER-MER-MER instead of the actual restaurant name. It's frump language, people. Get with it.

It's true. That was our code name. WE'RE SO CREATIVE I KNOW.





Kristen and I were WAY ahead of everyone else. As usual. YOU SLOW POKES.



BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH this is the most perfect face ever. Never change, Jess, never change.

We were getting some prime video on this walk to the bus stop. FART SHOES was in full effect at this point. It got to a higher frump level than usual.

SPIN SPIN!





We got really good at it. "No Jess, YOU don't spin, you just spin the...wait...nevermind." FART BRAINS.

"You crushed my soul and dreams." "FART SHOES!"



My bad.

I promise I'll get to editing this video someday. I just have no idea when because I have like 3 trip reports to finish, the hardest semester of college of my entire life, and a Disney College Program coming up. But it WILL get done someday. And once it is, I will post it!

Hahaha no worries, you'll get there.

ANYWAYS.... we saw a Magic Kingdom bus pull up to the bus stop and we RAN there. RE RE RE! Time for MER-MER-MER-MER-MER!!!!!
