Waitlisted Boardwalk
Dec 3-10 I am on a waitlist for Boardwalk. I know its unlikely, but has anyone had something like this come through this close to the trip?
Regardless we are going to have a blast. We check in to Art of Animation on the 30th, then leave there on the 3rd and check in to Kidani until the 10th. Its just that in March we stayed at Beachclub and were spoiled by the quick walk to EPCOT. Thanks! T

Not likely, I'm afraid. The fact that you need a whole week makes it almost impossible. You could keep checking online and see if you could get 2 or 3 days in a row and book those, then do Epcot and DHS those days. Good luck.

We just got our waitlist for a 2BD at BW for Oct 26-28. I wasn't sure it would come thru since it's F & W weekend but I checked last week and we were all set!

I agree with everyone else for this time of year , i booked 11-28 to 12-4 at SSR and i only booked just over 20 days ago and 2 phone calls to MS and also knowing that would be my only choice and BWV is my home this time of the year is a long shot try the wait list i have never had lluck with it but many people do get lucky

I wait listed a BLT LV studio at 7 months from dec 1-7 and it just came through last week. I had zero hope of it coming through so it was a nice surprise.

I've been waiting to book 2 nights somewhere as I had points in holding and you only can book 60 days out. (I had to cancel my birthday trip at the BLT 2 days before I was to leave due to illness, so someone hopefully got a nice surprise on a waitlist). I've been looking for weeks and nothing until today. I had my choice between 3 weekends at the boardwalk. Nov 16 weekend, December 6 & 7 and Dec 14 & 15. Wow!! However, by the time I decided to book the Nov weekend it was gone.
But I did book the 14 & 15 of December. However, the Friday night on Dec 6 went fast too. My point is that rooms are coming available all the time so you may want to check back often. Good luck!

We decided to add 3 nights onto our November trip in September and I was able to waitlist OKW studio and got that within days (we were limited with our points as to what we could book). I also waitlisted for BWV standard studio and checked several times everyday for the last month. Finally today after waiting I saw all 3 days in a pool/garden view were available and I was able to buy the additional points we needed and got the reservation. This is for Thanksgiving week too. I have seen several nights come available in different resorts over the last few weeks that I have been stalking the sight. There is hope that your waitlist comes through!

We just got a waitlist fulfillment last week - a studio at BWV for 12/31. And with an extra dose of karma thrown in - it came through while we were at WDW for Food & Wine !
