Smile What is it?!?

~Yay! Thanks for the update! Now, I have to actually read the link, lol.

~Um, that is NOT what I expected, lol. I can only make out stairs and doors and a maze maybe?! I don't care, at least we know something is underway! This AVATAR thing needs to be fabulous, because Universal is not holding back on Phase II!

Looks like a 4-theater Soarin' type attraction for the main show and then there's a boat ride that crosses through the building (and isnt fully shown) at one of the lower levels of the building.

Also - the boat ride is labeled as a "C-ticket"

Reportedly James Cameron signed off on these two attractions very recently.

~You're right! I can see it now! My guess is that we'll take a flight of adventure on one of those flying Avatar dragon or dinosaur things, though the "World of Pandora."

~You're right, again! It is a boat ride! And, thank you for pointing out the "C-ticket" label! My guess is this will be a gentle boat ride (with a few splashes), with emphasis placed on scenes from the upcoming Avatar sequel, which is supposed to be based on a beautiful underwater sea expedition!

~Everything appears to be *AWESOME* so far! But, I am still holding out for a coaster of some kind and then Avatarland will have a complete trifecta!

~I totally believe you, this sounds very accurate! Also, Meg Crofton alluded that the AVATAR section of Animal Kindgom was approaching its final planning stages just a couple weeks ago!

~Kudos to you, mousermerf! This is *HUGE* news, hopefully all of those dumb rumors will end!!!

If your right, I could live with that. All this avatar talk had me wondering how does this work in Animal Kingdom? But this, this works. I don't think this would deflect to much from the rest of the park and I would enjoy a new soarin type attraction. And who doesn't love the water rides.

I would not put to much faith is these plans, as the whole project is on hold. There is big creative differences and budget differences between Cameroon and Disney. Camrron wants a $5000 mil budget and Disney is at $375 mil.

These are likey early proposed plans, but not anything definite!

this was annouced by both parties a few months ago.

Some have suggested the whole point of this "leak" is to get the project un-held.

I will believe Avatarland will happen when they start construction. Until then, I can remain hopeful it won't.
