Carpinteria?
Hi all:
Thinking of traveling with another family down to SB area and maybe stay in Carpinteria over Thanksgiving? Thoughts? We may drive over to Magic Mountain one day since her kids are dying to go... Also maybe the channel islands trip? Anything I should know? Good idea or no? Thanks!!! Kim

I grew up in SB and my sister and her family and my dad live in Carpinteria. I spend every Thanksgiving in Carpinteria, it's beautiful. Book your hotel as soon as you can, Carpinteria fills up over that weekend.

How is the weather usually? Probably unpredictable like it is up here, but just wondering on average. Kim

I like the zoo in SB, it is simple but has stunning views and landscaping
