How far to discovery cove? - The DIS Discussion Forums

We have tix to DC for tomorrow and are commuting by cab from AoA at WDW. Anyone know how long the drive might take? Wondering what time to set the alarm for and when we should call our cab for. We'd like to be there early to get a good swim time. Weather here could be better and we don't need another storm wrecking the later part of our day for the 4th day in a row. Thanks!

Mapquest lists the distance at 8.7 miles from Art of Animation, with a travel time of 14 minutes (assuming no traffic tie-ups).
