"Jersey Week" around the Epcot resorts?

We are at BCV the 3rd-9th, "jersey week", and this is our first time arriving that week, we usually come the week after on the friday or saturday ending jersey week. We usually see some crowds for a day when we arrive, and then things taper off during that dead week when F&W is over but Thanksgiving is still a week away. (We LOVE that week, done it 3 years in a row)

Question is, what kind of crowds are we looking at at BCV and the whole area? SAB a mob scene? I know it's the last full week of F&W as well as Jersey week, so any feedback would be great.

My understanding from talking to my New Jersey teacher friends, "Jersey Week" at WDW doesn't start until the teachers convention starts on 11/8 (Thursday), so shouldn't affect you. At least that's what I'm hoping to be true, as we're there from 11/4 - 11/5, staying at BWV.

We are from Jersey, most of the schools are off Tuesday/Thursday/Friday. So many parents take their kids out the entire week. Hence "Jersey Week", and not "Jersey Thursday"!!

I think it's going to be a busy week. I'm just curious as to how busy.

I'm curious as to how busy it will be also. We're also from Jersey, but we've never been during "Jersey Week". I booked our trip at the 11 month mark last year from Nov 2-12 for my husbands 30th bday. We never go during his bday and he wanted to go this year. I had no clue SO much was going to be going on during that week that I'm nervous it's going to be so over crowded. With Jersey Week, Fantasyland Previews, Festival of the Masters, and the very end of the Food & Wine I think we're in for a very crowded week. I think the weekends though will be worse then the weekdays .

Veterans Day weekend has been soldout for some time for DVC rooms, so that's November 9 to 11.

We've been down the last 2 Jersey weeks.....
Other than late April, to me theres probably no better time to go....

Crowds are about avg..like a 5
Weather is perfect Highs around 83* Lows around 60* Still good for swimming.
End of F&W festival, which is fun, But Just try to avoid on Friday or Saturday nights.
You'll have the best of both...Halloween decorations & X-Mas decorations....Also Osborne's Festivival of lights( Which Is AMAZING) Don't miss!!!

Jersey always has the Thur. & Fri. off, & The Tues. is 1/2 day for election day, unless a Presidential election like this yr, & full day off for that..

What we did was arrive there the Thursday prior to Jersey Week, which was also the last day for FD. So we were able to get FD for the whol trip. & kids were only out of school for only 3 & 1/2 days.

Enjoy your trips, as I'm a lil upset that we aren't going this Jersey week....Oh well, April here we come..

Thanks! We always go the week after, but this year we had to move it up and didn't know what we were getting into. We don't have a big agenda this year, we have the fantasyland preview on the 5th and a few dinner reservations around Epcot and the BCV area. Glad to hear it's a good week, I have a feeling this might become our new "go-to" week!

I guess we'd be exit 142? We are 30 minutes from the Parkway, north of Morristown. We are 287 folk!

I have a feeling being at BCV for Jersey week is going to be interesting. My wife and I already have a running joke about who we might run into in the hot tub that we know ....
