driving from chicago
Hi new to this board, just booked our 3rd vacation to Disney for sep 2013, we are going to surprise our kids and arrive on there birthday. I was wondering if any one has drove to Disney World from chicago and how long it took? We flew the last few times and i am trying to save some cash, would rather have more for the parks.

Goto the 4th post of the "End of Summer Bash" thread and look at his 2010 and 2009 Trip reports about the drive. However his minivan has been know to travel at Ludicrous speed... so I'm not sure if a standard transport is capable?

We drive from Hammond, IN which basically as far North and West as you can get in IN (read: south suburb). It takes us about 17.5 hours of drive time.
