GKTW Halloween Idea

Hi everyone! I just thought of another way we are going to raise money for GKTW and thought others might want to do the same.

There is a local dentist office here that has a small fall party for children. They get toothbrushes and other goodies (non-candy) and turn in all their Halloween candy (or whatever is left after mom and dad have gone through and stashed "the good stuff" ). The kids get paid by the pound for the candy, which is then donated to the troops.

Our kids usually save their money for our next vacation, but this year, we will be donating it to GKTW.

Anyone else have this in their area?

Great idea!! I also think that trick-or-treating for GKTW is a unique way to raise funds.
