Usual timing on spring deals?

When do spring deals usually get announced? Also, I assume that when the offers come out, they apply only to NEW reservations -- if you've already booked, you can't get the better deal. Let me know if that's not the case though.

And yes, if you've already booked and something better comes out, you can change it. In some cases you might have to cancel and rebook. I fully intend to change my room-only reservation WHEN something better than 10% AAA comes out.

wow -- what a great resource! I've never been to that page. I guess until now I've always booked only when/if I've gotten an offer in the mail, but now they have me hooked!
