Is it possible to just come up for the day? I have never been to any kind of Disney meet but can't afford the hotel stay for the weekend.

Sheraton all booked!
I just went to the Sheraton Monarch Springfield website and it looks like they are all booked for the weekend :-(
I guess that will teach me to procrastinate! I will call them directly just to be sure, seems unusual for a small city to be completely booked, but the Big E is a huge draw for that weekend.

Thanks for the alternates - we'll take a look and see what we can find. I am just bummed that we didn't snag a room with everyone else at the Sheraton.
The good news is that we live in northern Worcester County so we can drive from home if need be (and save a few hundred that can be used for charity auctions!).
