Sometimes you can get lobster type meals, but regular lobster is only on Semi-Formal night

Smile Fish Extender list

The way that I am doing it is one gift for every person in the room see list if you are on the Magic Aug. 17th NY cruise http://magic1708.weebly.com/

Keever (keeper of the list) didn't check to see if you were on it. Sorry

I am personally putting my DISboard name on my gift just in case my room changes. (Here's hoping) I will put my new number on the gift and try to give them out by the next afternoon. If no room change when they are assigned, since I'm a VGT room, I will do it some time in the middle. You can do it when ever you want. Also on the above web site is a Fishie 101.

Hope this helps!

I JUST ADJUSTED MY POSTING! APPARENTLY I DO NOT WRITE VERY WELL. SORRY.

I am getting sooooo excited...I think about this trip every day!!!!
Hi
You can choose one gift per cabin OR one gift per person per cabin. It's up to you.
You can deliver them whenever you wish, but early on in the cruise would allow people time to enjoy them. Delivering them too late can make it hard to pack them.
Who is counting? How many sleeps?

What excursions is everyone doing on Port Canaveral Day?

The Wild Africa Trek in AK sounds AMAZING! But it will take up most of the day.

We plan on hitting AK on the 630am bus, hit the hightlights, we may skip the safari. Yet, I have to go visit my favorite gorillas. Plan on being in Hollywood Studios by lunch (have a 1210pm reservation at SciFi Dine-In). Only plan on hitting the actual rides here, no shows.

Hopefully, we can be at MK by 3-4pm to close out the day. We weren't planning on Epcot, but the more I look at the Illuminations desert party, the more I am considering changing up the day.

We plan on going to MK in the morning (7:30 or 7:45 bus) then off to Epcot in the afternoon. Hope to make it to Illuminations but with a 5yo and 2yo I do am not holding my breath! We might leave Epcot and go the Beach Club and find a nice cool place to relax and have the little one nap. Hopefully then we can make it to the show.

Since you have the 2yo, can you use the baby center for a nap? Not sure how much the baby centers offer, but I think they have a nursing room. If they have a nursing room, couldn't you find a corner and have the kids nap there?

PS..I have always felt Disney should have "napping" rooms. They could even charge per hour, what a goldmine, because people would pay! LOL

That is true! Then we can still have one of the adults stay with DS and do some attractions. Thanks!

We are catching like 7:15 bus to Hollywood Studios plan on doing rides there we want to do, maybe 5 at most, then heading to Magic Kingdom doing some stuff there, then (either head to downtown disney to get earl of sandwich and then Epcot for rest of time) or (just go right to Epcot)

Not long now!!!

Can anyone tell me about the kids club, do I need to register them before we board or wait til we get on the ship?
Also, does the oceaneers club need to be booked or do we just turn up for sessions that sound fun, do they close when full?
All very new to us, we've never been on a holiday where we have been able to leave our children ( my son is 7and my daughter is 3) Is it true that staff from the club will take kids straight from the restaurant?
Sorry for lots of questions, knowing my luck they will hate it and stay glued to me for 8 nights ( we have brunch booked at palo on the last at sea day, so I only need 2 hours grown up time, everything else is a bonus!)

We are on an early bus to HS, plan to do a few rides, have an early lunch and then head over to MK. Dinner @ tony's and then play it by ear from there.

Speaking of Lobster...

Not sure which night, but one of the nights offers lobster ravioli as an appetizer -- they are FANTASTIC, I usually order it for my app & then ask for a "dinner sized portion" for my main course that night!

Another favorite appetizer-- not sure of the name (we call them "purses") because they look like little satchel bags, the real name kind of sounds like it has "purses" in it as well... wish I could think of it. That is another night, I order like extra, extra appetizers in place of my main entree!

mmmmmmm......

You can pre-register them through your online check in. When you get to the port, check in, get your KTTW cards, and then make your way over to the kids club check in. That is where they will get their wristbands, etc. print out your paperwork at home and have it all signed with the passwords, etc...and you'll fly though.

No need to book activities, just show up at the lab at the designated time of the activity.

Not sure if staff will come and get your kids from the restaurant. We always brought our kids to the lab. Most times, my kids didn't even come out for dinner, so they ate with the group. The CM's do bring the kids to dinner(not in the MDR) if your little ones decide they are having too much fun and don't want to come out for family dinner.

Don't plan on your kids being glued to you, and don't be hurt if they don't want to spend time with you! LOL. My youngest DS only sees us in the mroning at breakfast, a quick afternoon swim, and he sees us when DH collects him from the club at closing time. Occasionally I will pop my head in to say Hi to him during the day. LOL
