Typhoon Lagoon
On our upcoming trip, we will be going to Typhoon Lagoon for a day. Should we bring towels from home or should we use the resort towels? We are staying at OKW.
Thanks!

Technically, I don't believe that you are supposed to use the resort towels. They do offer towels for rent at TL that are identical to resort towels.

We always bring our own towels, rentals are $2.00 a towel.

for me, renting towels is soooo worth it, use em and dump em, no washing, no drying. We do it every time. Usually get 2 each as thy're small, but then we take in our own drinks and food to save money that way instead.

If i'm staying at a Disney resort, I will just go out to the pool and grab whatever towels I need for the day.
When I am done, I drop them off at the towel drop off's at the water park. Some people say you should bring them back to the resort, but all towels go to a central laundry facility at Disney World anyway... so whether you bring them back to the hotel or not doesn't matter.

So do you have to hold on to the same towel all day? or can you exchange it for a dry one?

They both also confirmed that all towels go to a central laundry facility. I also noticed the "rental" towels were exactly the same as the towels from CBR.

I think we'll probably be bringing our own, especially since our TL day is the day we arrive and we're planning on our room not being ready so it's not like we'd be able to use towels from our room...unless we went down to the pool first and took them from there. But, I just prefer to bring my own.

We bring them from the hotel pool because they're the same towels and there is really no point of paying if the CMs don't care if you take them
