Pre-Trip Report(29) - Traditions
Pre-Trip Report - 29 days to go before our split stay at BLT and BWV in a two bedroom suite.
There are some things we seem to do every trip. DW is a person of habit and loves her traditions. The top 5 traditions but not sure why. 5. We eat breakfast at airport McDonald's - We always fly out early morning and this trip is no exception. We'll be in Orlando for 10am. It will be a 3am wake up call and at the airport for 6am. Sleep is for whimps but must eat breakfast. ![]() By dvc_dreamer at 2011-08-16 4. Magic Kingdom is first stop - No matter how old we get, MK is first stop. It's the crown jewel and must be appreciated first. 3. Columbia Harbor House - Lunch is at Columbia Harbor house. I like the tuna sandwich. Not sure why this is tradition. It just is. 2. Haunted Mansion is first attraction - DW has an affinity for the spooky. She loves spooky movies. Never forget our first trip when we scared our youngest, Ben, who was 6 at the time. She hyped it up all the way to the attraction and he swore he wouldn't go in. He made it through despite the trauma leading up and really enjoyed it. He actually went on everything that first trip. Haunted Mansion has remained the first attraction ever since. 1. Margarita's in Mexico - DW talks about this all year long. Every day we go to Epcot, she's first in line at 11 am. She doesn't drink all year long but loves her Margarita in Mexico. The picture is tradition too. ![]() By dvc_dreamer at 2011-08-17 What are some of your traditions?

Love your posts!
Some of our traditions include: -Kona Cafe on the last morning before flying out. We like to drown our sorrows in Tonga Toast! -Magic Kingdom must be the last park of the trip! It maybe done first, and in the middle as well. But we always close our trips with one last visit to MK. -Take pictures of the kids on the Golden Carousel. We've been doing this since our boys' first visit. (They were each one yr. old when they first visited). They are now 5 and 8. Love comparing the pictures year after year.

![]() We always have a late afternoon flight out. That gives us time for one last spin through MK. We have this in common. Good one!
