Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday! Sorry I haven't been here in a while things were just crazy with our trip and Christmas! I am back now though and happy to report a few things!

First of all, we are 68 days away from our March trip! We have to make the final deposit Janurary 20th, it's approaching so fast!!

Secondly, our trip was a blast. We ended up getting 12th in the Nation! Not the best result, but they girls all did so awesome and I am proud of each and every one of them. Some of them are new to cheering, and none had ever been farther than one competition so to get all the way to Disney is truely a big accomplishment!

Okay so on with the report! Cont. in next post!

So our journey begins in Mass, at 3am on Tuesday December 6th. I went to one of the houses of one of my cheerleaders to meet up and ride together to T.F. Green airport in RI. We were on our way. We got to the airport and went though dreaded security and meet up with the entire team. When we finally met up, I gave the girls a gift from me! They each got Minney Ears with a reversible bow!

They loved them! We were then off! Our flight was on time and we got to pick our seats so that was good. We all sat together and the girls all did their homework on the plane. They all missed 4 days, so they needed to get their work done so the plane was where they chose to do so. We got to the airport and collected luggage. This was difficult with 25 people but we managed to get it done! I then checked us all in to Magical Express. We got on a bus headed to Celebrity hall.

Celebrity hall is a buliding located in the parking lots ASSp and ASMu. It was where we had to check in for everything. We checked in and got all the room keys, but our rooms wouldn't be ready until 3-5pm, and it was 11am. Luckily I had planned for this and had all the girls pack bathing suits in their carry ons!!

So the girls were off to the pool and I was off to get my book checked and sign up for a practice. I had to take a bus to the ESPN Wide World of Sports. When I got their they werent going to let me in!! Turns out I had to get a tiny card at the hotel called my "credental". This was never told to me at the hotel and there was another coach there going through the same thing so they let us in after yelling at us for like ten minutes. They werent very nice to us at all! But I guess thats what to expect when your not actually in the world. I got my book checked and had to come back at 230pm for practice so back to the hotel I went.

A few of the girls had got their room assignments by the time I got back so i was luckily able to change and get more comfortable. I grabbed a quick snack and a refillible mug and went back to gather the girls. I also went back and got credentals and got on the bus with the girls. We had our practice which was okay, but they were all hot, tired, and dehydrated, so it wasn't anything great. Oh and my radio broke so we had no music. I had HAD it with my day and just wanted to go to MK and see the Christmas lights. OH BUT WAIT, it was MVMCP and we didn't have tickets!

We went back to the hotel and changed and ate, and decided it was time to head to the parks. Since making it to MK was out of the question, we headed to Epcot!

We were off to our first ride..

Soarin'! It was my first time and I was pumped!

My girls in line! I had read on here to try to get the front row and I did! It was funny to see the castmembers face when she said to me "How many in your party?" and I said "25!" "Really?" "Haha yes, really!" We took up one whole section. During the video before you get on, when they man takes off his Mickey ears, one of my girls, whom I lovingly call "random girl", yelled "Look at his hair!!!! HAHAHAHA" (Next time you ride you will totally laugh at this part!!) I LOVED this ride! so awesome and worth every second of the wait! From there we headed to spaceship earth. We rode that as a team as well, and then everyone was free to go do whatever they wanted to do. Most of us got a FP to Test Track and then ate. We ate at the snack place that you walk through to get to TT (I fail and forget the name). I got Chicken and fries and it was good!

We then went on TT and then headed back to the hotel. We were all so tired from the long day and ready for bed. We also had to be up early the next day for our competition!

Thank you! I agree that 12th in the Nation is something to be proud of. Something I didn't mention, and most likely because I don't want to dwell on it since it can't change.. We should have been 5th. We got a 5 point deduction because at the end of the routine, the girl in the front jumped to her knees. (Your have to brace yourself before falling to the ground and she didn't.) With those 5 points, we would have been 5th, gotten a huge trophy, recognition, banner, the works. I think this is what bumbed out the girls the most.

But we made it there and that is all that matters. They did AMAZING, and I am still so proud!

I also just noticed that I am now a Mouseketeer!!

WOOHOO! It's about time!
