Slugs
Is there a way to get rid of slugs using a home remedy?

pick em off with chop sticks & put 'em in a can of soapy water.
take some jar lids and fill with beer. put them in the ground near the affected plants, they'll drown themselves.

How about sprinkling crushed egg shells around your plants, slugs hate the texture and can't move on them. Saves killing them slowly!

The beer works well, or you can buy copper tape to put round pots - they get a shock off it and move away. I've tried the eggshells, but you do need a lot! An alternative is to buy a big bag of bran (very cheap in health shops) and sprinkle it wound plants. It works the sam as eggshells - its prickly - but you need to refresh it after rain.
