If I remember correctly (I read all the patent paperwork on the technology) it's actually the CM *in* the suit doing the talking...so no "extra" magic is needed. They just need some great cms that can stay in character and carry on conversations easily.

I think they could absolutely bring this to the parks soon if they were willing to spend the money on it. And well, we know where Disney stands when it comes to that....

Definitely could be it. I just think I would be freaked out by the fact that Mickey is talking to me. Plus the blinking thing is just plain weird.

I think it would be amazing....I wish they would bring him to the park before my daughter is too old for it to mean anything. I cry when I watch the videos of him talking.

I put this possible addition relatively far in the future.

From the looks of the examples on YouTube, the technology is just not quite "there" yet
for everyday (and all day) public interaction.

And, remember, it would likely need to be done at all 4 WDW parks at the same time.

(But, as always, anything is possible at Disney.)

I don't think that's the technique that they will be using.

It is not the technique used in any of the clips on YouTube.
