So I called Disney today and booked our honeymoon at POFQ!!! I have never stayed here before and I am very excited about this, but I am still hoping that we end up getting a pin code or there is a deal that comes out to the public for the time we are going. We are going to be staying from December 13-20. We are watching a flight that leaves Oregon at 5pm on the 12th and gets into Orland at 6am on the 13th so we have a little longer trip. We will see what the flights look like as it gets closer. So these are the dates as of right now, it depends upon if I end up getting a teaching job for the 10-11 school year or if I have to sub. If I sub we will keep these dates, but if I get a job then we may have to move the dates depending upon how many personal days I can get to take time off!

congrats on your engagement! That's awesome you guys are still able to incorporate Disney into your wedding celebration - a Disneymoon is going to be so much fun! I've heard great things about POFQ. We are staying at POR for our Disneymoon
Can't wait to hear more!

So here a plan of what I am wanting to do on our honeymoon. This is not going to be in any sort of order or set in stone, just what I am thinking would be fun!
Day 1 - If we get the flight we want it will land in Orlando at 6am so we would go to the hotel, check in, take a rest if our room is available, head to animals kingdom. For the evening we would go to animal kingdom lodge for dinner and to see the Christmas decorations and the animals of course. We would then take the bus to DTD and then go to the hotel whenever we were done there. Day 2 - Epcot and have dinner at one of the restaurants that come with the candlelight processional package so we could do that. (Suggestions welcome about which restaurant is best). Day 3 - Hollywood Studios to see the Osbourne lights and do what ever else like rides and shows. Maybe have dinner at Downtown Disney or go see another nice hotel??? I also want to see that ice exhibit at the gaylord palms, so maybe this would be the best day to do this... I also like the polynesian, so maybe we will have dinner there that night! Day 4 - Animal Kingdom in the morning, then take the bus to the Grand Floridian to have an early dinner/late lunch. In the evening go the MVMCP!!! Day 5 - Hollywood Studios again so Nick can watch Fantasmic! He loves that show and maybe see the lights again. We would probably do a Fantasmic dinner package at one of the restaurants, Im not really sure which one. Day 6 - Epcot to have breakfast at the restaurant in Norway. Belle is my favorite and I just found out on my last trip that that is the restaurant where you get a photo with Belle and she is my favorite Disney character which is why I am so excited about the new plans about Fantasy land having the beauty and the beast restaurant!!! Nick likes trying to drink around the world so maybe we can do that this day as well if we dont do it the first time! We also wanted to try to go to Jellyrolls since we have never been there so maybe we will do that this evening. Day 7 - Magic Kingdom is my favorite park to end the trip so I hope it will end up staying on this night! I thought it would be fun to go over to the wilderness lodge for dinner to see their decorations and maybe do the carriage ride, but Im not sure its worth it, I just dont know a lot about it... We may even watch the water parade thing too that I have heard about on here! So that is what I have so far that I really want to do. I dont want to have our schedule too packed and I want to be able to keep it pretty flexible so hopefully I dont have too much that I really want to do!

Congratz on your engagement. It sounds like you got everything really planned out, the restaurant in Norway is an excellent choice, they have a really good cheese and crackers bar. Have you ever eaten at Cinderella's Royal Table? You should definitely check it out, I love the breakfast there. Can't wait to hear more of your planning!

Yeah my DF isn't too excited about the character dinning either, last time we went he was like if they come over here you are talking to them, lol! I think it's all in good fun, but I really love feeling royal at Cindy's when they introduce you.

A little update
I have not posted an update in a while, so here is what I have done for my wedding and honeymoon planning since I last posted!
At the end of February I bought my dress and brought it home. Here is my dress (its not the best picture, and I am hoping my hair will be longer by the wedding, it takes a long time to grow out after cutting it for locks of love in the summer) ![]() I also had my bridesmaids try on their dresses and I think I decided which one I am going to get. The bridesmaid dresses are the most stressful part for me since I have all different body styles and each girl has their own opinion on what they like. I think I have picked the one I liked best and it matches my dress really well. One of my bridesmaids (my fiances sister) doesn't like the dress, but I do because its long and the style matches my dress and it all matches the winter theme. My fiances sister wants to have a short dress, but to me it doesn't really match the winter/Christmas theme. ![]() ![]() Since this past week was our spring break from school, we decided to take advantage of the time off before school starts again! The church we are getting married at requires us to go to four counseling sessions, so we had our first session during spring break. My fiance was not too excited about going to these, but it ended up being okay in the end. The pastor just asked a lot of questions about us to get to know us and know a bit about our relationship. We also got our engagement pictures done! The photographer was here for two hours and we had a great time! I will post some pictures when we get them in the mail. I really hope they turned out well. We also set up our registries this week. I know it is probably a bit early, but we had the time during our break so we thought it would be best just to do it and then update later. We registered at Khols and Bed Bath and Beyond (for a variety). We had also set up a Disney honeymoon registry about a month ago. I had realized that we had not received our gift card, so I decided to log on to see what was going on. I tried logging in and it said that we didnt have one! So I thought it got deleted some how and that is why we didnt get the gift card, so I tried reregistering. Nope, that didnt work, they said that there was already a registry with that confirmation number. So I just called the phone number the following day and the first time I checked the site it worked, then I checked it again a little later and it didnt work!! I decided to give up until I get the new gift card in the mail. This registry seems a bit frustrating! Oh well, we will see what happens!During spring break, my parents and my sister went to Florida. They went to the Everglades and the Keys and then ended their trip going to WDW! They also stayed at the AKL which I was very jealous about. I wish I was able to go with them, but soon enough I will be there on our honeymoon! They did get my fiance and me the wedding ears, just married buttons, and towels with Mr. and Mrs. and mouse ears on them, so we will be fully prepared for our honey moon ![]() But that is pretty much all that we have accomplished since my last post.

Wow - everything looks great so far. I love your dress and the church looks beautiful.
Just a word on your girls dresses - I had 3 girls and they all have different body types and different styles. I told them they could pick out whatever dress they wanted as long as it was from the Alfred Angelo line in claret. They picked out 3 different dresses - one long and two short - and think it was great. Watching all those bridal show this is something that you hear about quite a bit. Just wanted to give you something to think about. Here iare a few photos of all of us together. ![]() ![]()

Thanks for the information. They do look pretty! I might do that, that is probably the hardest part of the whole wedding planning, at least so far

It can be really hard picking out BM dresses. I figured as they were paying for them and they were traveling down to Disney for our wedding - to let them pick out whatever they were most comfortable in wearing.
