Need a room for one night by MCO...
My DW and I are flying in on 12/4 and leaving for the Disney cruise the next morning. We need a room close to the airport since we will be arriving late that night....around 10:30 P.M. Can anyone suggest any of the hotels that are close....they Hyatt is $151.00 plus taxes....kind of on the high side for a night when all we are gonna do is sleep.
Thanks for any suggestions.... |

I stayed at HYATT (GREAT BEDS AND SO CONVENIENT) right at MCO...Used, hotwire, paid 79. and it was PERFECT. We flew in from ISP/NY at night too, stayed over and woke up REFRESHED to start our full day at MK
![]() I am trying to recall where we stayed when we cruised on rccl at Port Canaveral....it was a GREAT place and I found it on cruise critic....like 100 and was literally 5 minutes from dock, actually see ships from the hotel....pulling my photobook for name...hold there a sec...

Raddison Resort at the Port...FREE shuttle to port, you can set that up NOW....don't wait if you enjoy getting on cruise ship early.
AAA, was like 100/nite, year ago...nice, clean, not fancy but a restaurant and pool/grotto area, workout room, tennis courts...I'd say mid type hotel not like a Hyatt or anything......... As far as Hyatt goes, others got it even LESS than I paid... Good Luck and have a great trip!

For this situation, I use Priceline at the 3 1/2 * level and bid about 42 to 50 $ depending on what is posted at www.biddingfortravel.com. We just stayed at the MCO Marriott for $42 plus taxes and fees in October. All of the hotels at this level have shuttles, and in the am the hotel shuttle took us directly to the drop-off for ME. Two of the other passengers were sailing on the Magic, and were right where Disney picks them up for Port Canaveral.
