We stayed at the DoubleTree in 2000 and it was nice but our room overlooked I-4 and it was noisy, the fresh chocolate chip cookies they left in our room made up for that
...the buses were a huge PIA so after the first day we drove our car to the parks....

rooms
I've stayed at both, this year and once or twice in previous years.
The DoubleTree is nice for extra space with a suite. I liked this with my son -- The Hilton is my fave spring fling place to go...my sister doesn't do the parks, and they have a great pool area, seems 2x as large as the DoubleTree's, and plenty of food options - couple restaurants, etc. If I was going with more than 1 person, the DoubleTree's extra space makes it worth it after spending so much time together all day long (bedroom/living room area separates with "closet type doors - shutter like" On the other hand, we loved the quick walk across the street at the hilton, easy access to shuttle buses out back for both shopping (outlets) and the parks Hope that gives you some info - oh the hilton was standard hotel room type |

I have stayed at the Hilton there twice (not for park visits) and really liked it. No complaints here.
