Apple and Candied Walnut Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing

My hubby and I have discovered an apple and candied walnut salad with poppy seed dressing at a local restaurant and I am looking for a reliable recipe for poppy seed dressing and a chance that anyone knows how to candy walnuts? TIA

Picking some recipes from the Disney Recipe thread --

From the WL Whispering Canyon Cafe's Little Nutty Salad -

Candied Walnuts

Candied Walnuts
1/3 cup walnuts
2 Tbsp maple syrup

Mix the walnuts and maple syrup. Spread the walnut mixture on a baking sheet and place in the oven at 350°F until golden brown. Cool and reserve for garnish

From the Saratoga Springs' Artist' Palette

PoppySeed Dressing from House Salad

Poppy Seed Dressing
1/2 cup White Sugar
1/2 cup Lemon Juice
2 tsp Diced Onions
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
3/4 cup Canola Oil
1 tbsp Poppy Seed

Method of Preparation
Place first five ingredients in blender or food processor, when mixed well add oil slowly. Add poppy seed and blend for 10 seconds.

Enjoy!!
