DS 16 injured himself during his 2nd football game last week so he is out the rest of the season = now I can get him in for a haircut in the evenings since no more practice for him! We met with his orthopaedic surgeon yesterday and it looks like he is heading back to the operating room after we get back. Need to squeeze in an MRI between now and next Thursday to confirm. Uggh!!!

Well that's too bad your son got injured. As for haircuts, why not get them done at the Disney Barber Shop on Mainstreet? My DD1 will be getting her first haircut there in a few weeks just like my DD5 did. It was so adorable how they play up to the fact that it's the child's first haircut even giving them mickey ears that say 1st haircut :-)

I still have to wait till Halloween

but seeing all the Halloween stuff in the stores makes me happy! Our parents come home today, can't wait to hear about their big trip.

I hear you. We leave in 7 days and I still have so much to do. My whole family has been down for the count for the past week and a half. We can't seem to shake off these darn flu bugs we all have. At least it's now and not 7 days from now. I only hope mine goes away soon. I need to pack and get things ready!

Single digit dancing

I'm so ready!

Last night DS,14 saw the commercial for Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3D, it comes out the day we get to Disney. The boy went bonkers

He had a Woody doll that he literally dragged by one arm through his toddler years. He wants to see it while we are there because it will be "cool", which means I'm going to have to find a day in the plans to go. I have 2 water park days, I think we'll be cutting that to one now.

I am excited for Toy Story 1&2 in 3D too!!! A word of caution though - my DF and i were in the World the week that Up was released. We went to see it at the DTD theater and we were really surprised at how small the theater was. They have a lot of screens, and many theaters, but the actual size of the theater where we sat was smaller than the theater I go to at home. There were several people walking up and down aisles looking for seats well into the beginning of the movie. Make sure you get there early!

stressing! one week today at this time we'll be in the air. i have so much to get done before we go. i havent started packign yet, sicne we've hit our indian summer. my dryer broke last week(only 6 weeks old), were trying to get our mortgage renewal finalize, i have a hubby whos away this weekend, swim lessons, gymnastics lesson, nails, tanning, brownies tonite, a birthday party a visit to my grandmothers and a trim for me, and physio for dd and chiro for me. oy, i think i need a clone!

but still i can't wait!!!!

Thank you for the advice! We are always extra early for movies-DH has a thing about sitting at the very top of the theatre. And I now know that I can pre purchase the tickets I'm set. I have not yet seen Up-it just didn't look that good

It wasn't loading for me either - I'm hoping that means there will be some Fantasmic! shows added. Our plan is to eat at Chef's de France at 4:30 and then take the boat over to DHS just to wait for F!, but if a later show gets added we can spend a little more time at Epcot, so here's hoping

I'm finally able to do the 30 day dance

. Finally decided to do MNSSHP on Oct 27. Wasn't going to do MNSSHP cause I've never been a Halloween type of person. Never cared for it as a kid, don't care for it as an adult. But after reading and seeing picture about it I want to go. And I figure I might not go back to WDW during this time of year so might has well do it. My co-workers think I'm nuts cause I'm looking at menus and talking about what sounds good and the places I'm eating at and knowing what I would like to eat there. They keep on saying it's too far from now to think about it. By the way this is my first time going to WDW. I am soooooooo glad I came across Dis or I would have not know almost everything I need to do for this trip. Didn't know I would need to make ADRs at the 90 day mark to get into places I want to eat or I wouldn't have know about F! package. So I would like to thank everyone.
