Disney proposal
Hey everyone, I'm planning on traveling to Disney this August with my girlfriend and while I'm there I planned on proposing. My problem is I have so many ideas that I've been kicking around to try and decide what would be best for her. Little bit about her - she's been to Disney about 10 times or more, and LOVES everything about Disney Princesses, especially Belle and Beauty and the Beast. Due to this, I have been thinking about doing it in front of the castle. I've read about a lot of people proposing in front of or inside the castle during the fireworks and all the things that Disney does to help out.
I've read that they've made people parade grandmasters before the "wishes" show, using the "dream team" to say they've "won" things and other ways to have gone to pretty long lengths to please them. I've got millions of ideas basically depending on how helpful they're willing to be and if they can do anything so I know a plan in advance. I'm basically wondering if its best to contact someone down there beforehand to try and see what they can do for me and work on an idea. I'm trying to make this as perfect as possible and I would appreciate anyone's input for not just ideas, but how to best go about it so it's a time we'll never forget. Thank you!! |

Disney will do almost anything to make is special if you have enough $$! Below are a couple of threads with some ideas, it's a place for you to get started and see what other ideas people have had:

I've actually read all of those and I've come up with a few decent ideas.
I've heard that there is a place off to the right towards tomorrowland called "Fairytale Garden" that is pretty private for a proposal during the nighttime fireworks. Its apparently where Belle reads during the daytime hours. I'm struggling between that and doing it during dinner at CRT either before the fireworks or during them. Both of these would require minimal help from the staff there, but if I wanted something more involved is there a way to contact them? At the minimum I'd like to be able to get pictures taken of the proposal. One of her dreams throughout her childhood was winning one of the contests there, such as the parade grand marshal or something special like that. She doesn't mind being the center of attention, its more myself that would feel nervous in front of people which is why I was thinking about a more private place like the garden. |
