I am so sad to her that they have filed for divorced, thought I am not surprised.

Kate had a breast lift when they did her tummy tuck, but I haven't noticed anything different recently

If he was a women that was smacked (love tapped) by her husband and then filmed when she said a million times over that they wanted it to stop, or was constantly undermined and ridiculed by her dh we would be calling abuse. Maybe he is tired of the stress of it all and just wants some happiness in life and to enjoy his kids and his own life.

I don't know, at this point, I would risk getting sued for the sake of my kids. I dont know what kind of contract it is or what kind of repercussions would exist but I would think if they couldnt get out, at least TLC would figure something out for those kids.

Yeah, seriously, I really think he's happy to get away from Kate and the kids.... he's free to do what he wants with whomever he wants. He never really looked like he was having a good time in any of the episodes IMO. Honestly, I have 1 child and I have days when I want to get away too! However, my husband is the best and very supportive. I do not think Kate was that way with Jon. I also thnk Jon is a tad childish and just does not want the responsiblity anymore. It will be easy for them... Jon will do what he likes and it's rumored that Kate has 50 "helpers" as she calls them. She will not be totally on her own.... once again, it's the kids who will bear most of the burden of the split.

While I'm surprised that it came to a divorce .. I'm NOT surprised that the show is going on. Because that's what is important to Kate. That's been clear for months, now.

And at the end of their time in the spotlight, what will they have left their children? Financial security? Happiness? Love? Yes. But that's only part of it. All of this has played out in the public eye. That, to me, is the saddest part of all.

I'm glad I didn't watch. And I'm officially done. I'll not be around for thread #5.
