I was so glad to have taken the Friday off work, it always seems that even though I am packed, I still have many last minute things to do, paying bills, cleaning, laundry, stocking up on groceries for Erich so that he wouldn't go hungry LOL, I had no worries about him going hungry as he works full time at a restaurant just blocks from our home.


Our rental agent was very friendly though, it turns out that she had just been on the Disney Magic for their first sailing to Tortola so she was giving us all kinds of tips for the cruise. I of course already knew most of what she was telling us from reading the boards but I smiled and nodded as she was just being friendly and helpful. She also tried to upsell us to a convertible which we of course turned down, lucky that we did!

The lady at the car rental counter really made me laugh, as she said that Lessa and I would look really good driving around in the car, Oh, I'm sure that we would have, and if anyone was there at Disney that week, or watched the news, the week was really not convertibale weather LOL

She did a pretty good job don't you think?
Thank you Lessa, I do try, I did find however that the camera I was using seemed to be taking very grainy pictures, and it was not a very fast camera, so I am sure that many of my pictures will or have been deleted

Hey my eyes are not closed!! LOL ( It seems that in the majority of all pictures taken of me ever, my eyes are always closed). let me tell you it felt good to be back at Disney and away from everyday life, worries and stresses, I was just looking forward to a few weeks of fun, relaxation, meeting and making new friends along the way and enjoying this time with my daughter. I think that would put a smile on anyone's face.


The original plan was to get some ice cream at Ghirardelli but the line was crazy long so we skipped it. We decided it was time to leave as we still needed to hit up the grocery store for some water and breakfast food. After that we returned to the hotel to drop off the groceries.

Well the other plan that Lessa forgot to mention was that we were going to check out the "Characters in Flight", the new tethered balloon ride, however, we decided to head over to the Magic Kingdom, take in some rides before meeting up with Rosie and the rest of the gang for the Dole Whip/Spectromagic meet, as we had planned to return to Downtown Disney later in the week to do our serious shopping, and at that point we would do the balloon ride then.

I am sure that if I had ordered something else I would have been much more impressed. I had just read so much about how amazing that mac and cheese dish was and to me it was not anything out of the ordinary. I could have had the same thing up here. I did really like Mom's pizza.

I wouldn't completely discount WPE, perhaps just don't order the mac and cheese.

The Pizza does look yummy!! Sorry about the Mac&Cheese, although it does look yummy in the pic. Oh and Lessa, I love the ice cream sundaes from a Ghirardelli's...they can be addicting!!!

The day isn't even over yet, that was just the beginning! We were like energizer bunnies that day, we just kept going and going.

I was looking forward to an ice cream but that line was just so long and we had a schedule to keep that day so I passed promising myself to try again another day.

This is true, sometimes I have to take the same picture several times to get one where her eyes are open.

Isn't she? The funny thing is that last July when we were flying home from BC I had a sharp metal nail file that my grandma had given me in my shorts pocket. I forgot I had put it there and so I still had it on me when we went through airport security. They didn't detect a thing and so I was able to board the plane with a possible weapon. Mom on the other hand is a real danger with her tube of toothpaste!

Oh yeah, I was majorly panicked. I had $500 cash in there plus all my credit cards. Good thing I left it on the counter and the JetBlue rep found it, I can only imagine what might have happened if it had been left somewhere else.

The mac and cheese was decent, just regular mac and cheese, I was just expecting something more. I am a fan of "different" or more uniquely flavoured mac and cheeses.

I was very lucky with my purse, I was so happy that nothing was missing from it.

I was super disappointed with the mac and cheese but I had several meals later in the trip that really made up for that one little disappointment.

Hi Kristi! It was so much fun getting to hang out with you that night. I love that a group of us hung around after the meet to go watch Wishes and ride the Haunted Mansion.

Well my voice is still very raspy but I can speak clearly enough that I am at work tonight although everybody has been making fun of how I sound. Saturday was the worst though, I could barely talk.

I'm still not sure if I caught this at WDW due to the nasty weather or if I caught it on the cruise. I guess I will never know.

I just ordered my photopass cd! Yes we were originally in a share but there was some confusion on Mom's part and so we ended up having to order our own cd. Good news though is that we should have it in a couple days if it is delivered as quickly as it was the past two years. I really need it before I post about our next park day. I still have two updates to write about the first day though so there should not be a delay in the report!
