Disney Dining doesn't do reservations for T-Rex, you call them directly at:

THANKS! That's how I made reservations for Rainforest Cafe at DTD. They do them 6 months out.

Hi Everybody! My "soon to be" wife and I will be celebrating our honeymoon on October 26th-Nov 1st in Disney World! We are going to be staying at the Swan! I am so looking forward to the MNSSHP, the F & W festival, and TSM! I'm glad to have joined in everybody's excitement for the next 6 months! So whats the gossip about October? How are the crowds, etc?

My mother is an RCI timeshare holder also. She had enough points banked to get 3 condos and if you ask me, you can't beat free lodging...lol! However, the resort looks like it will be extremely nice! We are planning to do breakfast and dinner in the condos since they have a full kitchen and we'll be traveling with a total of 12 people. I have realized through the DIS that I will have to make another trip to Disney and stay at a Disney Resort. I'd love to do the DDP! Maybe one day I can do a splurge trip with just the hubby...would be so heavenly!!

I have never been in Oct but touring plans is rating the crowd level at a 4 and 5 right now. (highest crowds being a 10) From what I have read its a great time to go-crowds aren't bad and neither is the weather!

Edited to ask: I just created my signature today. When I post, it's cutting off the last 8 lines of previous trips. (Showed up fine when I previewed the post.) Can anyone tell me why?

Mine did the same thing! I just moved everything up some and then it was fine. I noticed your screen name-are you from Savannah?

There is an automatic signature length on this forum, it will cut off anything over that specified length. I suggest to put the wording side by side across the bottom if you want to show all your previous trips . They did that because member signatures were getting way too long and it was hard on people because they had to scroll through them all the time.

No, I'm not from Savannah, although I would love to move south! (I live in the Pittsburgh area now - too much cold and snow - not enough Mickey.) My favorite pet cat was named Savannah. Sadly, she's been gone for almost 6 years now.

We actually always go Sept/Oct! The crowds are awesome, last October there were rides we practically walked on! We have only done MNSSHP once, but it was a night to be remembered....you won't be disappointed. The weather can be hit or miss, but we find later in October to be better, when you are avoiding the end of hurricane season (so that you don't get the tail end of those nasty storms). Have fun planning!!!! I know for myself, it doesn't matter how many times we have been - I always have SO much fun planning, and this is our first year on the dining plan....which will make it that much more fun!
