Glad to see the new thread. Had to come get my Poly fix - Mr. Weatherman has just posted a Winter Storm Watch for us tonight / tomorrow. UUUUGGGHHH! I'm so sick of snow. I'll have to go Tikiman's sight, close my eyes and listen to the music and pretend I'm already there!

My first time here. We have only 12 more days until our first stay at the Poly, Staying LVCL, and can't wait.

Someone was asking about how close the TTC was to the Poly and walking time, I found a pic that I took last week that shows how really close they are. The pic was taken from the monorail ramp at the TTC looking towards the Poly.

and while I am here adding pics, here are two from the patio of room 1506 in Hawaii.

Just adding another confirmation that you can get the Dole Whips at CC's using either a snack credit or as a dessert for your CS meal. DH did both multiple times!

Not orginally but Uncle Sam thought it would be a good idea to have us stationed here. We are in Bossier City at Barksdale AFB. How about you? Originally we are from Indiana but have been abit of everywhere.

We just finished cleaning house and all packing is done other than bathroom items. We are getting so excited! Can someone tell us what dole whip is and tonga toast? or what is in them??

We might want to try them.

Dole whip is one of my DD's favorites. It's a pineapple-flavored soft-serve ice cream (that's the best way I can explain it). If you buy it in the MK or DL, you can get it as a float on top of pineapple juice -- it's really good that way!

Tonga Toast is the huge, cinammony, banana-stuffed french toast that they serve at Kona Cafe and Captain Cook's for breakfast. There are photos of it all over these boards -- it's a favorite of many posters!
