DH is going to book our room soon for the 2 days before the crusie. It is near his mom's house outside of Orlando. We are driving down from AL, so we dont' have to worry about flights. It just seemed cheaper (and easier) to drive down since we'll be down for 2 weeks. Plus we may be bringing my mom and doggie down to my grandmas house in DeLand.

We still have lots of things to do to get ready though! Passport, dress clothes, etc.

105 days is February 7, 90 days is February 22 and 75 days is March 9.

wmjivey- No, we are not using Disney air. We are flying Southwest because we all had free flights, Yeah SW Visa. I have 2 more free flight credits & should get a 3rd this month to use for another cruise out of Fort Lauderdale in June. Nothing like 2 cruises within a month.

Stacey- did you win big in Vegas? Or, at least, did you have a wonderful time?

I received the package everyone was talking about from Disney today. It has a booklet on gifts, the Disney Magic, and a tips for excursions. (The letter sent with it says it was printed out on 12/24/08)

Something weird happened with that mailing. Normally they are all mailed around the same date but for some reason our cruise was split up. I'm glad you got yours because that means mine is on the way

Just recieved two more kilts in the mail today to bring on the cruise, I am looking for a formal jacket for my Irish Saffron to be styling on formal night Let the party begin !!

NOOOOO....I did not win a thing in Vegas. I don't think anyone does any more, and if they say they did, they're lying.
But yes, we had a great time. Mandalay Bay is an awesome hotel. I can't wait to go back when the beach and wave pool (and lazy river!) are open.

I'm also going to keep a list there of everyone doing the FE so it may be easier to print it out from there to use. It's not totally updated yet, but I was working on it the other day.

I don't see us on the Fish Extender List -- and I think our stateroom has changed from the list you have. It's 2504 (or maybe 2502) -- we're going with another family and one of those is ours. Either way, we'll both be doing the FE. Thanks for putting this together for us!!

When I told Kaylah there would be kids her age on the cruise, she was thrilled! I think she thought they would all be 9 & 10 year olds. And when she found out there would actually be members of the opposite sex onboard who were semi close to her age, she grinned ear to ear. I actually like her meeting them on cruises, because they live half the country away & it is much safer on my mind.

Jordan met her "first" boyfriend on a Disney cruise, and they "went together" for over a year. We live in Arizona and he lives in Virginia.

Just to make it official, since I hadn't said anything yet, Sharon and I are NOT going to be doing the Fish Extender. We won't have any menfolk to carry suitcases, so we're limited on our bags & have to haul them ourselves....so we're going to try to do this as minimally as possible. Sorry!
