I haven't had time to get ready for the holiday. I have been working an average of 10 hours each day. It is a mess! We get the grandkids this weekend, maybe we will put up a tree with them. I hope everyone is having a good holiday season. Lois

I always have a great time with my grandbabies. But they aren't so little anymore. Austin is 15 and Beth is 12. As far as the ADR system I am sure they are hoping to have it up and going in the new year but there are so many things that can go wrong with a new system like this it is hard to tell. The good news is that DCL has an on line ressie system that seems to work fairly well. It does seem to get overwhelmed and get boged down on a weekly basis. I hope that Disney has gotton new servers that can meet the high demand. Then this upgrade should go on without a hitch and before we need it. But this is reality so I wouldn't count on anything.

I really hope we will be able to make ADR's at the 180 day mark. I've been reading different things on here. Some people say it should be working by the 22nd of december and then some say it won't be ready until the end of January. I guess we will just have to wait to find out. I just really hope this new reservation system includes making ADR's online!

Just spoke with a CM today and it doesn't look good to be able to make our ADR at 180 days out. They expect now that the on-line system to be up towards the end of January but only to be able to make ressies about 90 to 120 days out. She suggested that the hours will only be posted that far in advance as well. They have put the on-line check in on hold for the time. It will be hard to determine how it will fall out.

Anyone else have any good NEWS? Lois

Oh no! When they first announced this whole system revamp, I didn't even question that our 180 day out would be affected. I can't believe they've had such a set back in getting this thing up and running. Oh well. I guess all we can do is just hope for the best and see what happens!

It really didn't sound like a set back but more a change in overall policy. Shortening the number of days out that ressies can be made more in line with DCL.

It really doesn't matter as long as it is a change for everyone. I want the park schedule to be released prior to making my ressies any how. So now to figure out when 120 to 90 day out are so I can plan when I need to make my ressies. If the on line system is up in January then most of the bugs should be worked out before we need to use it. At least we can hope.

I figure we will make ressies some time in either March or April. Either way it will be OK. Just more time for planning. Till then, Lois

march or april??? that seems sooo far away! i was looking forward to all my planning being done by Febuary. oh well. guess we just have to wait and see what happens.

I just read that they changed making ADR's to 90 days prior to your arrival. That means we still have over 3 months til we can make our adrs!!!

I know!! All along I had planned on my ADR date being Jan 20th but now it's not until April 20th!! Who knows with Disney, though. Things can change at any time. We'll just have to wait and see what happens...

That means I can't make mine till April 9th. Oh well just more time to make decisions on where I want to eat. Hopefully the calender will be completed before we can make our ADR. I guess it isn't that big of a deal as long as it is for everyone. Just where did you read the 90 day rule? Lois
