What does "concierge" consist of on the Fantasy??
If we were to book a category "Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah - Category 00V" on the Fantasy, what services does this give you??
We've done concierge many times at WDW deluxe resorts, but never on DCL. Also, I know that the Fantasy had some changes done to it after the Dream launched, so can anyone tell me the "pros" to the Fantasy? Any and all info regarding concierge services on the Fantasy, and the improvements to the Fantasy VS the Dream, is greatly appreciated. ![]() Get you off the ship sooner? Palo/Dining in your room? Do they book Palo for you in advance? Etc? What are the actual benefits (snacks in room, etc) as well as the service related benefits (booking Palo for us). We appreciate both types of benefits, but we've never paid attention to concierge on the ships before. DH and I trying to decide between a 7-night Caribbean on the Fantasy or a Panama Canal on the Wonder. Thanks!!!

Concierge on both the Dream and Fantasy the same.
Special seating area at terminal Special check in area at terminal 1st to Board Concierge lounge (snacks and soda/water/smoothies for the kids throughout day) Concierge staff will make your Remy and Palo dinning resv. Concierge staff will make your Spa appointments Concierge staff will book your excursions/tours Concierge has a happy hour (wine/beer FREE) 1 hour before each dinner setting Snacks in your room, sodas/water... Concierge only Sun deck (sunscreen included) Special Character Meet and Greet Any special needs/requests they will do their best to accomodate No lines at Guest Services for anything - Concierge will take care of it for you! Check out/ tip arrangements done at Concierge desk Free 100 Minutes of internet (very SLOW though) They will also let you borrow a I-Pad for internet use if you didnt bring your own Special area to pick up your luggage after disembarkation (easier to find) ..... I think that is all I can think of at this time... Hope this helps in your decision

If you are only a Cat V, no Palo room service. May or may not get dining from MDRs in your stateroom either as there is no table.
You can def get dinner from the MDRs if you are Cat T. Only place you get Palo room service is Cat R. |

No MDR delivery if staying in a Cat. V.
Happy Hour was more than wine/beer, lots of hard liquor available as well. DH wanted Guinness and the bartender made sure it was stocked all week. I asked for a couple bottles of Strongbow Cider and they were there the next day. Smoothies are available all day. They will even add alcohol to the smoothies during the Happy Hours for the adults. If you are a coffee drinker you will love the specialty coffee machine that is available then the lounge is open. Snacks in the lounge change throughout the day. We only had the standard fruit bowl in our cabin when we embarked, no other treats were delivered to our cabin since the lounge has food out when it's open. Cabins were open about 12:45.

We also had treats delivered each night, before bedtime....cookies, brownies or chocolate covered strawberries and milk. This was in the top 3 "favorite things" for the kids.
