Dessert party
Hi ladies!!
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with info about having a dessert party for our dftw. We are having an escape wedding and planning on taking our guests out to dinner after the cake and champagne toast. I would love to host a dessert party after dinner. Any info is greatly appreciated! |

Welcome!
I have detailed information about planning your own dessert party at WDW here: http://disneytravelbabble.com/how-to...dessert-party/

Just wanted to say, I had a dessert party with my wedding, and it was one of the BEST decisions I made!!! It ended the day perfectly... we were at Eau de France, the lower French island, and all my guests were very impressed and excited. We had the build your own ice cream sundae bar, along with cookies and brownies and fresh fruit, and the fireworks were just amazing. It was the perfect way to end the day. Do it, do it, DO IT!!!!!

If you have an escape package, adding a DP will trigger a $7500 minimum spend. Just FYI.
(It's an idea I totally advocate for, though). |

They changed the rule so that now it only applies if your ceremony is on a Saturday or a Sunday. Also, the minimum goes up to $8,000 in 2014.

Yes! I have a list of them here—just click the name to see photos: http://disneytravelbabble.com/disney...-venue-photos/ Epcot locations are under Epcot, and the Contemporary and Grand Floridian venues are under Resorts.

There are locations suitable for groups of your size at Epcot, and Sago Cay at the Grand Floridian is also good for small groups.
