I know this needs to be done, just wondering how to go about selling our DVC. Need helpful suggestions, please.

that is a sad day indeed. i'm very sorry to hear. when my parents tossed around the idea, we contacted the different brokers and gathered information, compared. but they also went through a cooling off period and thought about and decided to keep it after all. the brokers were very helpful and answered questions and had information packets that we could review. but yes, this is a sad news.

![]() So sorry that you have come to this decision but I'm sure you gave it much thought. Is it at all possible to rent your points for a year or two to pay your yearly maintanence (if your contract is paid in full). If not, I hope you have a quick sell and possibly you can now enjoy renting points when needed and not have to worry about payments. Good luck! |

I know exactly how you feel. I just mailed our closing documents in yesterday for our sale. It is bittersweet.
We just returned from a week at BLT, and that will be our last trip for awhile. Our family will be growing soon, and we were at the point of either needing to add more points (for a larger room) or go less often. It didn't seem worthwhile to pay the maintenance fees for several years just for one trip every couple years, and we didn't want to add-on. Good luck with your decision, and the sales process. Ours has been very smooth. I would recommend the Timeshare Store. |

We decided to sell one of our memberships also. I highly recommend Timeshare store. We listed in August, sold within a few days and whole transaction done by mid October. Easiest transaction I have ever done. Good luck.

We are currentky in the process now of selling ours. We listed with TTS. It has been a very difficult choice. But we had to do something to free up some cash. My wife and I have not seen a raise in years. SAD TIMES to say the least!

I have bought and sold with TTS and it has to be the easiest contractual transactions I have ever gone through. They are fabulous.

I went thru this early this year ,needed the money so I sold both contracts that I had . But now things are better and I am most happy to say I am buying back in . Magic does happen when you believe .

We are just buying into DVC. We have one contract that is moving along quickly with Sharon at Fidelity (tomorrow we should get out of ROFR!) the other has been moving at a snail's pace through Sellmytimesharenow. The second contract took almost an entire month just to get submitted to DVC for consideration, so there is definitely something to be said for going with an experienced company.
