Update on Military Discounts - The DIS Discussion Forums

I assume not, but has anyone heard an update on the military discounts after 9/30?

They announced the EXTENSION of the previous one (2011 into 2012) about this time but I think the initial announcement (the one that started in Oct 2011) came very late...like really close to October!

I'm hoping for a new deal, too! LOVE these military deals.

I can almost bet that it will be extended again since Anheuser Busch parks (Busch Gardens, Sea World, etc) have announced the Here's to the Heroes promotion is extending into 2013 too. I think Disney wouldn't want to lose the military crowd.

I am waiting to find out but I'd love for them to extend it or come out with a new deal!

I'm waiting so I can plan for February 2013. Last I "heard" was an article in the Army Times several weeks ago that nothing had been decided, basically what we already know. They felt that because we are no longer in the war, there would be no extension or new promotions, but they are waiting on Disney.

Keep us updated. Considering I just caused a huge scene in my ITT over the current tickets and used some not so nice language with the dummies who work there, I'm relying on you all for info.

As of right now there is nothing in either the Advisories section or the Ticketing Information section of The Hub saying anything about a new Military promotions.

If and when something is announced I will post official information.

I have a trip booked Dec 20th-26th... if this offer is true does that mean We can not go to the parks on the 24th or 25th...Or We just can not go to Magic Kingdom on the 24th or 25th?
