We are a family of 5 and are totally excited about this cruise. Our kids don't even know about it. We are going to surprise them. We have 2 boys age 8 and 6 and a girl age 4

Hey Devo,

Welcome aboard. We surprised our children with a 3 day dream cruise this past September.... We told them the night before we sailed. They were shocked, to say the least.

Welcome Devo20.....

We surprised our DD with a 3 day one year. We wrapped up some DCL coloring sheets we printed off the computer from the DCL website and it took her a few minutes to figure out we were going on the cruise. We sailed the beginning of Feb. so the wait wasn't long for any of us, especially since I had only booked it 2 weeks before we told her.

Right now we're counting down our days until our Dream 4 day the end of Jan. to celebrate a friend's 50th b'day.

On our cruise this past September, we booked it in October of 2010 and managed to keep it a complete secret until the day before we sailed. We spent the night before at Downtown Disney, and some friends of ours who were at Magic Kingdom that day met us at the gate to the kingdom to tell them. They gave my children a DCL trading pin and one of their luggage tags. To say the least, they were stunned.

This time, they know about the cruise. I don't think I have the energy to keep another secret for a year.

We moved our Halloween 2012 Fantasy Western to this cruise while on the Dream last week. I love sea days and a chance for a new port in San Juan is wonderful!
