Just now joining as we are now officially booked for May 30 - June 3 in the Gran Destino Tower, Coronado Springs! We stayed there in November and fell in love with the new tower!

I did it and it just states standard room. Oh well. I don’t mind heading to the lobby, just thought it would be nice to get to the parks a little quicker. . I agree - it must be a glitch. Did you try today? Yep, tried it all. We will just head to the lobby. I bet it’s beautiful!

It’s definitely hot and humid in August at WDW and you can always count on a quick rain shower at some point during the day. I agree with the PP that suggested bringing flip flops to change into. Also, Crocs has some cute styles now that are very fashionable and water friendly.

I think that DH and I will eventually do it, but I just couldn’t stop feeling guilty about not taking them. He and I are planning a trip, alone, to Ireland instead. That I can swing.:thumbsup2

Has anyone left their kiddos at home and went to Disney World with just your DH/DW? I want to do this, but would it look bad? My two youngest are nine years apart in age and fight like cats and dogs. It makes for some very unpleasant vacay moments.
