    Quick Service Near Boardwalk Inn

QS is pretty lacking in that area. You might consider doing Ale & Compass to go for one of those meals (we've done that and have then eaten in the lounge next to the restaurant at breakfast time). Leaping Horse Libations menu at the BWI pool is pretty decent - salads, sandwiches. We like Primo...

    Gluten free

They do not offer gluten free pizza, but they have gluten free pasta and many other gluten free options on the menu.

    Dining for wedding dinner recommendations

Congratulations! I would consider California Grill and Topolino's. Both have decks on which you can watch the evening fireworks (check the times for the EP and MK fireworks that night). Cali Grill has the better view, but Topolino's, IMHO, has better food. You may also want to consider...

    WOW dessert party

There are three dessert parties in MK. The pre- and post-fireworks parties have a buffet on the upper terrace of Tomorrowland Terrace and the viewing area for the fireworks is in the garden in front of the Plaza Restaurant. The seated dessert party takes place entirely on the lower terrace of...

    Hoop Dee Doo for 2

You get your own table at HDDR. They do not combine parties.

    Let’s talk fried chicken sandwiches!!

I didn't try it, but I saw a fried chicken sandwich on the menu at Geyser Point a few days ago. I was impressed with the food we had there, so might be worth a try next time!

    A Birthday Cake Question

There are many outside vendors that will deliver cakes to the resorts if you are willing to have the cake in your resort room. If you happen to be on FB, take a look at the Ear for Each Other page - it is filled with former pastry CMs who lost their jobs over the pandemic and started their own...

Would you Upgrade from Saratoga Springs to Beach Club Villas?

If it's in your budget, I would make the switch in a heartbeat. BCV is one of the best located resorts in all of WDW, IMHO. You are right next to the EP IG entrance and the Skyliner station. The BCV building is also super close to the BC lobby, QS and the bus stop. Especially in the heat of...

    Do reservations open up?

No fee. When you check in on the app, you have the opportunity to input how many guests will actually dine. You can also tell the host/hostess if you check in in-person.

AYCTE Opinion Question- What do YOU think?

That just sounds so gross to me. It's all-you-care-to-eat, not all-you-care-to-order-and-then-shove-in-a-ziplock bag.

    DisneyWorld planner without hotel

Some TA's will work with you if you make a commissionable ticket purchase through them - you can certainly reach out to some TA's to see if that is the case.

Is ~$400 more worth it for an extra night?

When I shop cruises, I always calculate price, per night, to determine "worth" for my family. I also, like some PP's, think about what it would cost for one night in a regular hotel room at WDW with food and entertainment. I'm not sure what stateroom category you are considering or how many...

    Memorial Day Weekend Meal

I agree with PP, Hoop Dee Doo would be my pick with Boma coming in second. Hoop Dee Doo is more than a meal - it's a show, plus the whole experience of going to Ft. W - it's so fun! If you book, consider getting to Ft. W prior to 5 pm to see the horses at the stable and also consider booking a...

Can you still cancel if you do online checkin?

I never do online check-in until I land at MCO and am on my way to the resort. There is zero advantage to doing early, online check-in.

Fun activity for a free morning?

You could hop on the Skyliner and just explore resorts. IMHO, they have the best pastries on property at Riviera. If you happen to like pastries and coffee, it's fun to go to RIV and get some treats and just sit outside and enjoy the view. If you feel like having breakfast, their QS is good or...

    SSR or moderate

I would consider the modification/cancellation terms and conditions for each scenario. Also, consider if you will utilize extra magic hours. I am, personally, not comfortable renting points. We love CSR, particularly the tower and the preferred rooms.

Some suggestions for chilling at WDW please (-:

I just finished a "chill" trip with my sister and these are some of the things we did: Have breakfast at the Creperie in EP - we walked up (no ADR), great coffee and crepes - super chill Do the F&G festival scavenger hunt - it makes you slow down and really explore the EP WS countries Go to Ft...

I just ate there yesterday and it’s fantastic. Best breakfast on property!

3 night wish/3 night WDW vs 5 night CC double dip on fantasy

Another vote for the 5-night cruise. 3 nights is not enough on a cruise, IMHO, and it's too much re-packing and traveling with young children. Go on the Fantasy, settle in and enjoy. A CC double dip is perfect for younger kids as well - not a huge fan of Bahamas or Caribbean port excursions with...

So what type of park bag is everyone using these days?

I use LeSportsac crossbodies - they are lightweight and washable, super easy to pack and carry everything I need. They have Disney collabs. If you are looking for a light, belt bag, Vera Bradley just came out with a Disney solids collection and they have belt bags. I got a crossbody version and...
