So much Disney food is terrible

When they have offered food that was different from the basic chicken nuggets much of the time it ends up dumbed down. Disney sells what the majority of people want to eat. It is much easier to offer something slightly different at a resort or Disney Springs. And I've had the bbq at the...

So much Disney food is terrible

There are a lot fewer people visiting the Wilderness Lodge than the Magic Kingdom. They are feeding a bland palate.

So much Disney food is terrible

The flatbreads have been on that menu for years. Way before it was prix fixe. Many people love them.

Send email to wdw guest solutions bring back FP for onsite guests

Fastpass only worked if you didn't mind walking all over the park, hoping to get one for the ride you wanted. And it worked best if you were at the parks at open. There was too much walking to a ride, only to have it out of fastpasses for that day. It wasn't a great system either. I'm...

So much Disney food is terrible

Unfortunately they won't be. Any time a Disney restaurant goes outside of the box with food offerings, they quickly become dumbed down. Probably due to a combo of cost and of guest's palates.

So much Disney food is terrible

Keep in mind Disney has to make food for the masses. It isn't meant to be all gourmet. If you are a foodie, you need to do research and be prepared to pay for it.

Looking for some information on FL tours

Wow, I have used FL Tours many times, and never had anything but a great driver. No, they do not do the sign thing. They will watch your flight and text you to find you. They do only have suvs now, the limo had a problem that will be too costly and take too long for them to fix (according...

    UV Umbrella

Yes. I purchased one from Amazon, and used it the first time during a trip in July. It helped a lot. I will add that my brother in law has to go full coverage due to a sun allergy. Long sleeves, bandana around the neck, long pants. A combo of both is not a bad idea.

    ECV Rental

Unless you are used to it pushing a wheelchair is very tiring. If your mom cannot walk long distances renting an ecv from an outside company is the way to go. They are typically nicer and easier to drive than the park ones anyway.

How many are in your family? The All Star Music have suites that sleep 6, and are much cheaper than the AoA suites. Around $100 a night cheaper.

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

I haven't stayed at the Swan Reserve yet because, quite frankly, I don't want even a shortish extra walk after a long day in the parks. I would only stay there with a car. But of the other 2, I prefer the Swan. However if there is a large enough price difference I will book the Dolphin. For...

We have had a room that was on the same floor as the shops. It was great! No need to use the elevators at all.

    Split stay-transferring cold groceries

I am booked for a split stay--3 nights POR, 2 nights Dolphin. How do I go about moving cold groceries? It is my understanding that the Dolphin does not have a cold storage area. Is it silly to even try to move cold food? I had planned on buying a few things, but am most worried about...

My last resort was the Swan in December 2023. Next stay is this September. Starting at Port Orleans Riverside, hopping to the Dolphin for the last 2 nights.

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

Picabu is a sad remnant of what it used to be. They used to have so many different dishes to chose from, we would eat there multiple times a trip. Last trip we walked in and walked out.

    On line resort changes

Can I take days off a trip on line? I know I can look at other resorts, but I wasn't sure if I could change the dates. Or will they make me cancel and rebook? I have a promo rate I don't want to lose. Should I call?
