Which weather report do you believe? weather.com has it in the mid to high 60's and rain the whole week we are there. Accuweather has it in the mid to high 70's and no rain!

We are at 10 days for us leaving for FL and 11 days for Disney! I am so unprepared and I have been planning this trip for 2 years!!! I am excited but worried I am going to forget something important...like the kids or something! LOL

Finally got all of my reservations down and for the approximate times that we wanted! Akershus breakfast for the 10th was a hard one to get! Now I can relax on planning until fast pass time comes near.

We are staying at CBR from Dec 9-16.

We did it last time we went and we are glad we did....however, not sure if I want to spend the extra money doing it this time. It was neat and fun but we were exhausted by the time we got to the party. Part of it was our fault because we didn't go back to rest during the day. My kids loved that...

Since we are waiting to be able to make our dining reservations (38 more days for me!), let's spend this time chatting about plans or what we like to do. What is the first park that you go when you get to Disney? We always have to go to MK when we get there...it somehow solidifies that we are...

I am so excited! We are staying at CBR on Dec 9-16. We were able to keep the gift card and got a standard room with free dining! Now it's time to start figuring out where we want to eat (we upgraded to the regular dining plan as well).

We are going at the same time as well! Just got the standard room for my parents reservation (I had one already) thanks to a fellow DIS'er as well. Now I can relax until dining reservations come out.

Does anyone know what time the Travel Agent holds get released tomorrow? I am hoping to snag a standard view at CBR with FD for my parents. Right now, they are in the Pirates rooms. I was able to get one for my reservation yesterday but now I have to find one for them...starting to get nervous...

I have been scouring touringplans and looking at their room photos to see where I want to request. I have the subscription with them so they will send in my request for me (yay!). Did you have waterview rooms or standard?

We are requesting either Jamaica or Aruba as well. I don't really like being in the "hub" of the resort but also don't want to be way out by the pirate rooms either. We are taking one day off half way through our vacation because the guys in our group want to go to NASA (my son is a space geek)...

I think it depends mostly on how much time do you plan on spending at the resort. If you are going to be at the parks most of your vacation (like us), I really wouldn't let the construction deter you. We are staying at CBR and can't wait! It is our first time there and it looks so pretty!

:offtopic: I was looking to see if CBR had anymore standard or water view rooms available for my week but when I put in my full week the only thing that shows up are the Pirates Rooms. However, when I look in smaller date increments (3 days at a time) the standards and water view rooms show up...
