***January 2022 Thread*** - Kicking Off 2022 with WDW!

Hi everyone! We're on the edge of booking for 1/15-1/19, and I'm equal parts excited and anxious! We took our last trip in March of 2020, right as the pandemic was getting taken more and more seriously, and WDW closed everything down the day after we left. I feel like it's a different world now...

    ***March 2020***

We'll be at CBR March 8-13! Also obsessively planning. I'm a Disney convert after my skepticism gave way to joy when we brought my then-3-year-old two years ago. This time it will be myself and husband, my soon to be six-year-old daughter, and twin two- year-olds. Both sets of grandparents...

We've Got a World-Class Menagerie: Where Should We Stay?

And two bathrooms is never a bad idea, especially if we've got two with any interest in potty training :)

We've Got a World-Class Menagerie: Where Should We Stay?

It’s strange but having never stayed at a deluxe I have a weird bias where I keep feeling like they’re somehow not tiny kid friendly (which is silly because it’s Disney, but still). I’ll keep it in mind!

We've Got a World-Class Menagerie: Where Should We Stay?

Thank you for the insight about Stormalong Bay; I think that may be important to keep in mind. And yes! I’m looking into renting points, feeling a bit overwhelmed but excited!

We've Got a World-Class Menagerie: Where Should We Stay?

I think you're onto something here. Oldest is going through the adjustment pretty well, but we still hit the occasional "I'm a baby too! Carry me! CARRY me! CARRY ME!" which is lovely when shrieked at increasingly loud volume in the Target parking lot.

Now this is good to know. Lugging a double stroller is no joke. And one week!!!! Have an amazing time!!!!

We've Got a World-Class Menagerie: Where Should We Stay?

Yes, I’m trying to imagine walking and the limits of twins who already immediately walk in opposite directions from each other! This is so helpful.

We've Got a World-Class Menagerie: Where Should We Stay?

Thank you both for your suggestions! I hadn’t even considered these options because I was focused on MK, but you make good points about being closer to two parks.

We've Got a World-Class Menagerie: Where Should We Stay?

Adding POFQ to my list of possibilities! And I was one of six kids and we frequently crammed ourselves into tiny hotel rooms, too - all of my memories of those times are sweet and wonderful. Thanks for the reminder of that!

We've Got a World-Class Menagerie: Where Should We Stay?

It's been a while since I've visited these boards - they were essential to making our first family trip to Disney in 2017 the best trip we've ever taken! - so I hope you'll redirect me if there's a better place to ask this question! Short version: if you were a family of five, with two adults...

Confessions of a Disney Convert: A March 2017 Trip

I'm sorry I took so long to come back to reply. I took pictures with an iPhone and a Nikon D5000. think somewhere else I mistakenly said it was a 7100 :/ I have a couple of different lenses that I like to shoot with, including a Sigma 70-300 mm zoom lens.

Confessions of a Disney Convert: A March 2017 Trip

I wanted to thank you for your comment - it's true, nothing will probably ever compare! I've just found out that I'm pregnant with twins (!) and I know our whole world is going to change, including whether and how we make it back to Disney any time soon! But if and when we do, I know we'll make...
