What's going on week of Jan 22, 2024? Resorts all booked?!

I know there is a Cheer event the first two weekends in February. Probably won’t impact crowds too much. But most likely eating up rooms.

Newbie to Universal--help with a couple things

For those 8am openings. How "early" can you check in and get a room key for EP access? Just wasn't sure if it was possible to get 2 full days off of one night.

Does having EP help with riding Hagrid's?

Can you get in the VQ for Hagrid's from Studios? I was thinking of taking daughter there first, to ride the train over to Islands of adventure, but don't want to miss a queue opportunity for Hagrid.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

We had very similar morning strategies on same day Tuesday 3/9 (which was at capacity). We have younger kids so spent more time on the slower rides :). We walked from CR at 7:45 and they started Scans at 8. We were probably a little ahead of you in 7DMT and Pan. Small World had not opened...

If it is the self parking lot I am thinkingof, it is across the street from Fantasia Mini Golf. Near the Swan lobby. There is an hourly/day rate on the swan website. It’s used for conventions so you can just drive in.

    ***Official March 2021 Thread***

We are surprising our kids (11,8, and 6) this trip . Quick stay for some Magic and a secret tub of Disney clothes. They like to pack themselves too. Wife and I have almost had some close calls talking too loud or Amazon deliveries. But so far all plans are intact. 1 month to go... The...

Park Hopping - How is capacity determined?

My guess is you will see busy mornings at HS and EP to get the new rides. And Hoppers to the other parks for afternoons, if they missed a group or got an early ride.

Rumor: FP (or virtual queue) return

I swore I would never wait in a line over 30 minutes. This isn't Disney from 2012. Our Park 4 level in January ended up at a 9. I sat in Slinky Dog for 80 minutes. Kiddos wanted it and we got some great unplugged bonding time. Park Interest is high and still will be throughout the 35%...

    Epcot SO Busy! - Jan 25, 2020

Last week we did Friday-EP, Saturday-AK Sunday-MK, and Monday-HS. Epcot was busy, but manageable. Caballeros queue extended out into shopping area, which I’ve never seen. Animal Kingdom was EMH and it was slammed. ended up at a 10. Rope dropped FOP, but didn’t get to River Journey. Magic...

    Rides w/ family of 5

Family of 5 here with a 9,6, and 4. Just back from MK and HS. 9 year old and 6 year old can ride together on SDMT and SDD together because of the locking system. That could mean Parent could ride alone. Barnstormer we had to rider swap. Everything else you can generally squeeze three (1...

    5th Park inevitable ?

I think it is about economics. Disney has created a brand that people have to plan a year in advance to participate in. Disney can continue to increase prices because of that demand and do not see a large drop in customers, while still increasing profit. But at the same time pricing out some...

Not gonna lie. This one is gonna be hard to explain to the kiddos. They believe in the magic of Disney. Glad we just went in November.
