    A complaint: lack of housekeeping

We stayed 7 nights in a little mermaid room at AOA in February. We got trash, towels, coffee refills on days 2,4 and 6. Also on day 4, we got a surprise full clean with the beds made and a cute arrangement of my kids stuffed animals. I think it all depends on the housekeeper assigned to you...

    Shh, it's a surprise! August 2020 PTR

Thanks for following along! Honestly the only reason I want to do four parks is because we can... we usually get 1 park/day tickets. Being on the skyliner helps too! Animal Kingdom has EMH that morning, so I'm thinking of getting there early, then bus to HS, Skyliner to Epcot (with a possible...

Am I missing something about Be our Guest breakfast?

re: pastries - when we went in August we had preordered our meals and then at the cash register, my sister decided she wanted a grey stuff cupcake and ordered that separately. Her cupcake came out first with its own plate of pastries and then our meals came out with another plate of pastries...

    Shh, it's a surprise! August 2020 PTR

I totally agree with you that BOG out of pocket is definitely overpriced. I went ahead and booked it anyway for an 8:15 PPO spot I found. As far as I know, not every person on the reservation has to order a meal, so I think we could probably just split two. I don't normally even eat breakfast...

    Shh, it's a surprise! August 2020 PTR

Thanks to everyone following along so far! I am having some planning paralysis. My ADR date is coming up in two days and I have no idea what to book. Like I said, we aren't doing the dining plan this time and I don't really think we want to pay OOP for as many character meals or table service...

AK rope drop with stroller - where to park for FOP?

She can wait in line with you but if she decides not to ride, one of the adults will have to leave the ride and wait outside with her. It's really a very fun ride, a little thrilling but not scary. My four year old loved it! edit to add: if she decides to bail, the CM*may* give you a FP for...

Way Out Here, Eh? - A June 2019 TR *PTR Link Posted

What a ride your HS day has been so far. From being rammed with a stroller, almost losing a kid, to seeing TOM HANKS, and then harassed for daring to sit at a table while your daughter eats. Can't wait to hear what happens next :)

Monday, August 19 - Magic Kingdom (Part 2) I forgot to put this in the last post, but here's our 7DMT ride photo: We made our way over to BTMRR, stopping at the Tangled Toilets on the way. Our Fastpasses were booked back to back for the morning: 9am BTMRR, 10am Splash, 11am...

Kinda Hot In These Rhinos... an August 2019 TR (updated 1/21)

It was just one of those things... you plan these trips so much but at the end of the day, there are some things that are just out of your hands and you have to go with them. It really was nice and a little unexpected pixie dust! Just the other day my SIL was saying she really loved that...

Kinda Hot In These Rhinos... an August 2019 TR (updated 1/21)

Hi Friends! Sorry for being a bit absent around the boards the last couple of months. With the holidays and all the kids' activities and work being absolutely insane, it has been hard for me to find time to write posts. I hope you all had wonderful holidays! We are in the planning stages for a...

    Pop versus AoA

Thank you everyone for your responses. I guess I will stick with Pop. I appreciate all the suggestions for ASMo, it looks really cute too but I'm super excited to stay at a Skyliner resort :)

    Pop versus AoA

Just looking for any insight/real life experiences... I am planning to book a trip for my family of four this summer (2 adults, 2 kids ages 8 and 6). We've stayed at all different levels of resorts (CBR, Pop, Wilderness Lodge, Boardwalk), and have decided to save money on the room and are...

One adult and 4 kids in a room at Pop - crazy?

I think there is room for a pack and play in a Pop room. We stayed there last August and I honestly felt like there was more space than in a CBR room. There is room under the bed to store luggage, which helps a lot.

Here comes the Slow Pass - Updated 5/27 Final Meal and Wrap up

Looks like a great morning! I've never seen those shade umbrellas before, that's a pretty thoughtful touch. How fun to do haircuts at the barber shop, definitely something I want to do with my boys at some point.

What a fun morning at Epcot! How wonderful to be at Epcot with your mom on her birthday (even if she had to buy her own present ;)) I love the picture with Ralph, even with Evie's messy hair - I think there might even be a smile under there. My 5-year-old did not like Soarin' much either - the...

    Split stay luggage question

Bell Services is open 24/7. You can stop by at Pop on your way out to drop off your bags to be sent to AKL, and then go to bell services at AKL when you arrive to pick them up, or call them when you get up to your room.

Newsies' Pumpkin-Spiced Trip Report! - Our MNSSHP, MM August '19 Adventure! *DR link 1/27*

Ugh what a bummer of a finish at the Halloween party! I wish they wouldn't sell so many tickets, it's no fun with lines and crowds everywhere. Your meet with Donald and Daisy looked wonderful and I love your costume!

Super Inconvenient, Barely Entertaining! Sept 27-Oct 5th Completed
