Feedback on staying off-site and then moving to Disney Hotel

FYI, I am not sure if it is same for UK tickets, but when I purchase Canadian Resident tickets, before my tickets are used for the first time, I have to visit Guest services to 'Activate' them by showing my Canadian driver's license or some sort of proof.

Feedback on staying off-site and then moving to Disney Hotel

That's great! :D Hahaha. I hear you! We ususally go for about 2 weeks when we go to WDW and do about 6 Parks. So we have a down-day every other day or so. That's why we have time to go around the resort. :) Also, we like eating at their restaurants as well, so we must travel to the resort...

Feedback on staying off-site and then moving to Disney Hotel

WOW THANK YOU! I hate shopping, so I think an hour is perfect for me. LOL. But we love Lego, so we think we will spend at least 1/2 hour at the Lego store to just see what they have and play, if they have an 'open' play area. We have rainforest cafe in Niagara Falls, so I think I'll pass that...

Feedback on staying off-site and then moving to Disney Hotel

Thank you for letting me know about the paperwork! This is great to know!! When you said a car service *early*, does this mean Uber? And how 'early' are you talking about? I read that there is Magical Express and you can get the park ticket at the train station as well. But it comes with some...

Feedback on staying off-site and then moving to Disney Hotel

Oh it is not? So I don't have to 'plan' almost a full-day at Disney Village then. :) I don't remember as it's been 27 years since I visited Disney Village and Disney Village only. (we arrived late in the afternoon in January, park closes at 6PM and my parents said we can't afford to get in. So...

Feedback on staying off-site and then moving to Disney Hotel

Thank you. I didn't even think about RER! How long did you do DLP last time? I am debating btw 2 nights/3 days and 3 nights/4 days. We absolutely love the fireworks, so we don't want to miss it on the last day - but maybe it's okay to miss the last day's firework and head to the CDG a bit...

Feedback on staying off-site and then moving to Disney Hotel

I am thinking of coming into DLP mid-day after doing Paris for a few days. Stay off-site hotel (will they have free shuttles that run frequently?) and just look around the Disney Village, gift shops, and be acquainted with the area and have dinner. Then the next morning, wake up early, take...

DLP First time - Late July/Early August

I think for us, the key is to look at the menu!! (And price, too!) I am also quite picky and so are my family. We were happy at WDW as I often find TS pretty good. But we havent done buffets nor character dining for a while. We will see how it goes. :)

DLP First time - Late July/Early August

Thank you for sharing. We will take a look at the menu and see what appeals to us. Just a quick question - does Disney village require a ticket to get in? Or is it outside of the parks?

DLP First time - Late July/Early August

OHHHHH That works too? That's cool! In that case, what should I do with my luggage? Leave it at the hotel that we stay? or leave it with Disney overnight (I dont think this is allowed though)? :D I see. I am just being super nervous because our most recent trip to Universal Studios Orlando...

DLP First time - Late July/Early August

Could you please share which sit-down restaurant you choose and why? And thank you for sharing your experience as well. :)

DLP First time - Late July/Early August

Thank you so much! It's great to hear your perspective. We've heard about the sit-down restaurants - so we're thinking of just doing quick service for the most part as well, and packing lunches, if that's allowed. BTW, I think I saw your other posting about doing the last night at the CDG...

DLP First time - Late July/Early August

Thank you so much! This is super helpful!!! I have updated my posting - 3 of us. 2 adults and 1 child (9-y/o DD). I am thinking about staying at the hotel nearby 1 night and the next morning, we drop off our luggage at the Disney hotel + EMH. Is that do-able? Yes, I figured that it will be...

    CABANA BAY BEACH RESORT Thread..........

I recommend where we stayed! We stayed at Castaway building, right in the middle (exterior family suite) and we really liked the location. It was close to the garden walk, should we decide to walk (did this twice) or take the ferry from Sapphire Falls (Also did this 3 times. It was easier when...

    First time visit help please!

Yeah. I know dry heat can do that - I had experienced it many times first hand when I was young. (when I first moved to Edmonton). Oh boy. Well, weather is hard to predict. Just no rain please. ;)
