This is exactly how our family feels. There is a big world out there and while we do go on other vacations, we spend the vast majority of our time and dollars with Disney. We have a trip booked for November and we were planning to get APs and go a few times next year. That will not happen now.

Exactly! I don't want to pay extra for parking if I'm already paying for a deluxe room. We've never had a problem finding a spot at a Deluxe or Moderate resort. This is just irritating. My husband especially hates this kind of money grab. He's about ready to just stay off property.

If you have a credit card you can check and see if they offer trip insurance as well. We mostly use AmEx and I believe you can purchase trip insurance that way.
