I haven't been on the Magic, but I read that only the longer cruises have formal nights. My first cruise will be on the Wish and there is no formal night at all on that ship because it only does 3 and 4 night trips.

You will not have a problem and will get to MK with plenty of time. The monorails come frequently. The Contemporary is the only place it seems to get backed up (usually in the evenings) but even then the monorail is very efficient.

Not to hijack the thread, but how was your concierge experience on the Wish? I’m booked for concierge later this year. OP, I’ve stayed at WL and AKL and enjoy both. I have young kids so prefer the proximity of WL to MK at this time in our lives, but I think AKL is stunning.

I’ve stayed at both and enjoyed both. You can’t go wrong.

AKL is an amazing resort. It has the most stunning lobby on property IMO. If you don’t care about proximity to MK or other resorts in that area (for dining etc) then definitely go for it!
